Abu Nasar Anwar joined Grameenphone IT as Head of Project Management in March, 2011. His current responsibilities include Leading Project Management team to ensure Project Delivery with Budget, Timeline and quality. Ensure Company revenue through execution of Project using Project Management Methodology (PMI guideline) & CMMI practices is one of the basic requirements that need to address in Project Management. Mr. Anwar is responsible for end to end Project Management, Project implementation Cost, Schedule Management, Portfolio Reporting & Effect realization, Project specific Resource Planning & Monitoring for effective resource utilization, Establishment of Center of Excellence & Knowledge repository management for Projects, Participating in strategic decision for new Projects/Business. Mr. Anwar has more than 15 years’ experiences in the field of IT. Having graduation of EEE from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) in 1995 started his career as Network Administrator in BDCOM one of the Leading ISP in Bangladesh. He joined Grameenphone July 2004 as Head of Office System under IT operation. During this period he successfully leads GP Own VSAT project and Email Archiving Project. 2007 he joined Strategy, Architecture and Governance Department as the role for Service Management. Then 2009 he started working as a Head of Functional Design & Delivery in Development & Integration Department as. From April 2010 after new Organization GPIT formation he worked as a Head of Planning & Implementation Department under Development and System Integration Division.Abu Nasar Anwar

Arifur Rahman is leading Governance and Risk Management department of GPIT. His responsibilities include managing organizational risk from a single point of contact (both operational, strategic), Monitoring SOX control and ensuring SOX Compliance, Managing policies, procedures, guidelines and processes for all areas within GPIT and Assisting GPIT to Govern SLAs and support matrix, ensuring periodic update of companywide Segregation of Duty (SOD) in alignment with CISA framework, conducting internal audit for ISO 27000 & ISO 20000 etc, conducting periodic awareness sessions among the stakeholders to ensure adherence to the established controls, policies, procedure and guidelines. Arifur Rahman is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI®. He has a B.Sc. in Computer Science and an MBA from IBA. He has over 10 years of work experience in different domains of telecommunication and IT industry with over 8 years exclusively on project management. Mr. Rahman joined Grameenphone in 2006 as Project Manager and managed couple of large projects. Prior to joining Grameenphone, Mr. Rahman has served Telecom Malaysia International (Bangladesh) Ltd (currently known as Robi) in different IT roles primarily in project management and as head of enterprise applications.Arifur Rahman

Leading and managing the Financial and Admin Solutions department of GPIT ensuring operations, development, implementation and management of Financial and Admin Systems and Services for GPIT, and meeting customers demand locally and globally, business expectation, quality and timeline assurance, revenue execution and cost optimization. The solution portfolio of his department includes ERP, HRMS, RAFM, Cellbazaar and eCommerce, Banking and Financial Services solutions. Abdul Bari has more than 9 years of experience in hands-on IT and different management level positions focused on development, system integration, implementation and operations of enterprise and financial solutions including ERP (Financials, Supply Chain, Sales and Distribution), HRMS, Financial Planning, E-Commerce and M-Commerce. Prior to joining GPIT, Abdul Bari worked in Grameenphone for almost 8 years in different positions. He also served as a Lecturer in the Computer Science and Engineering department of a private university before joining Grameenphone.
Mohammad Faysal Khan has joined GPIT in 2010. He is currently leading and managing the Infrastructure department to ensure designing, implementation, operations of entire IT for Infrastructure of GPIT, fulfilling the need of internal and external customers. He is currently working on few projects to develop long term architecture for cloud computing (Private Cloud) & to reduce datacenter and environmental effect. Prior to joining GPIT, Mohammad Faysal Khan was in Grameenphone for 8 years in various positions & roles within IT division. He hold total 12+ years of IT professional experience. Hasan Zamil is currently working as Deputy General Manager-People Strategy & Rewards in GPIT People & Organization Division. He joined GPIT P&O in August 2010 as Specialist-Recruitment. Hasan Zamil has over 5 years experience in the field of HR. He started his career in BRAC Bank Ltd HR Division. He was a HR business lead & Process Champion in BRAC Bank Ltd. for the first ever ERP implementation for a private commercial bank in Bangladesh. Jahrat Adib Chowdhury is the Head of Legal & Corporate Affairs of Grameenphone IT Ltd., (GPIT). She is a Barrister-at-Law from Lincoln’s Inn, UK and an Advocate of Supreme Court of Bangladesh. Her current portfolio includes Legal & Compliance, Stakeholder Relations, Regulatory Affairs, Corporate Communication and Social Investments. She is one of the official spokespersons of GPIT and represents GPIT in different platforms such as Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS), Bangladesh Computer Samity Jahrat completed LL.B (Hons) from University of London and obtained her Post Graduate Diploma in Law from Inns of Court School of Law, City University, London, UK. She came back to Bangladesh and joined the renowned law firm “Amir & Amir Law Associate” (Head of Chambers: M. Amir-Ul Islam, Barrister-at-Law) as an Associate Barrister. Thereafter, she joined Lee, Khan & Partners, an internationally reputed corporate law firm listed in the Legal 500 and other international legal directories. She has provided legal service to several industries including Telecom, IT, Banking & Financial Institutions, Consumer, Airlines, Oil, Gas & Power, NGOs, Insurance etc. and worked in joint projects with several top International law firms such as Allen & Overy, Milbank, Skadden, Clyde & Co. Mohammad Ali Bostame is the Company Secretary of Grameenphone IT Ltd. Among other functions, Company Secretary performs as the bridge between the Board, Management and Shareholders on strategic and statutory decisions & directions and acts as a quality assurance agent in all information streams towards the Shareholders/Board; He is also responsible for ensuring that appropriate Board procedures are followed and advises the Board on Corporate Governance matters. He started his career with Grameen Telecom in 2005 which owns 34.20% of the shares of Grameenphone Ltd, is a not-for-profit company in Bangladesh established by Professor Muhammad Yunus, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize 2006. Prior to joining GPIT in late 2010, he has successfully floated the PPO of a SBU of Hossaf Group. Tarikul Islam is currently leading GPIT Treasury & Financial management department under Finance Division. He joined as GM, Treasury & Financial Management in February, 2011. His functions include Develop & implement various financial policy & procedures, product & service costing, Supervise, manage & control day to day Treasury Operations and its development. The incumbent would also look into steering, owning & delivering the process of Financials reporting both Group and local. Ensure accounting compliance in line with standard principles & group policies. Secure compliance with the taxation and other fiscal laws of the land. Tarikul had joined Grameenphone as Manager, Treasury operations in Finance in February, 2003. After that he was given the additional responsibility and promoted to DGM, Treasury operations and made responsible for the Treasury management & regional finance support of the Company. Tarik was the originator of invoice workflow system which leads to make paperless of procure to pay process in GP in 2009.
