GPIT Partnering with Imagine Cup 2012

Imagine Cup is an annual competition sponsored and hosted by Microsoft Corp. Started in 2003, it has steadily grown in size, with more than 358,000 competitors representing 183 countries and regions in 2011. The Imagine Cup Worldwide finals have been held all over the globe.

This is the 10-year anniversary of Microsoft Imagine Cup, the world’s premier student technology competition. For a decade, students have shown the world their innovative solutions to help improve and change the lives of people around the globe. This year GPIT came up with a partnership with Microsoft to join this Nobel cause and is the Event and Ticket Sponsor of this Event. On the 19 April, 2012 both parties signed an agreement that this year GPIT will be sponsoring the local Imagine cup event.  GPIT will be contributing the air fare tickets for the Bangladesh Champion team for traveling to the World finals of the Cup, this year held in Sydney Australia. GPIT will be the main sponsor and cooperate in arranging the National final event held in the BICC on May 9^th 2012.  GPIT -the leading IT Company of Bangladesh- supporting this Mega Techno Event along with Microsoft for leaving a remarkable footstep into the IT world

Imagine Cup Bangladesh:

This competition started at 00:01 Bangladesh Standard Time (“BST”) on 1 January 2012 and ends at 23:59 BST on 14 April 2012 (“Entry Period”).

The Entry Period consists of two (2) separate Rounds as described below. Each round has unique entry requirements. All required entry deliverables must be received within the designated Round in order for your entry to be eligible for judging.Round 1 – Project Plan Submission (Finalized), Round 2 – National Competition Phase (Bangladeshi Finale Event 9^th May), Round 3 – Worldwide Finals (July 2012 in Australia)
